.Nelson Advisors partner Lloyd Price chaired a panel of HealthTech Execs, Doctors and Clinicians at The Future Health event in Windsor with Intersystems and Ready Computing.
Colin Henderson, Managing Director UK, InterSystems opened the evening event, followed by a lively panel and audience discussion with an expert panel including Dr Rami Riman and Lorna McArthur (InterSystems), James Gallagher (Ready Computing) and Kevin McDonnell (The Future Health).
Some of the key questions during the evening
How do healthcare technology suppliers contribute to the "sickness to prevention" agenda? Can our technology help identify at-risk populations, promote healthy behaviours, support early intervention and track preventative health outcomes?
How will healthcare technology solutions ensure true interoperability across different NHS systems (primary, secondary, community care)? What standards (e.g., FHIR, openEHR) do we adhere to, and how do we demonstrate our commitment to seamless data exchange?
We are starting to see more and more CNIO’s across the NHS, Chief Nursing Information Officers.. how do you see the role of an CNIO developing in the next 2 to 3 years?
If you could wave a magic wand and create the perfect EPR for Nurses, where would you start? What would be the core of a Nurse led EPR?
A lot of innovators say the best thing EPR companies can do is develop open API’s for them to work with, improve interoperability, end points to share monitoring, outcomes and patient data. How would you respond to this from an InterSystems perspective?
